The Pink Ribbon Walk is a national fundraising initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funding for breast cancer support programmes and research . Money raised on Pink Ribbon Walks around the country goes to support the work of Action Breast Cancer, a programme of the Irish Cancer Society and Ireland’s leading provider of breast cancer information and support.

Lots more of you signed up for the Walk or just dropped in to show your support. Now, with just a week to go, the Pink Ribbon buzz is really growing in Kells!

Pink Ribbon Walk Chairperson Penny McGowan appeared on The Morning Show with Sybil Mulcahy and Martin King on TV3 to talk about the Walk. O'Brien's SuperValu Kells PROPÉT Walking Shoes Headfort Arms Hotel
The first ever Killaloe Pink Ribbon Walk took place through the picturesque villages of Killaloe and Ballina, Co. Tipperary and around the stunning shores of Lough Derg on Saturday, 19th June. Over 550 walkers joined together to raise €80,000 for Action Breast Cancer. Congratulations to all of you who took part!
